Marjorie Panzer
Marjorie became interested in the healing art of massage at age 8. She and her sister became acquainted with a massage book in her grandfather’s library. They practiced on each other and soon the family lined-up for massages. She studied business at the KV-Schule in Zurich and holds a master in business administration. Throughout the years she remained interested in therapeutic massage and nutrition and took several courses but after a successful business career, Marjorie was ready for a change where her love of massage could be used to help people regain their health and well being. In 1999 she enrolled in a 1000-hour course at the Western Institute of Neuromuscular Therapy (voted one of the top five massage schools in the country) to learn a solid anatomy, physiology and kinesiology background for therapeutic massage. She graduated with honors and became a California certified Instructor for WIN. Since then, she has completed several courses to further her knowledge in therapeutic massage including modalities such as Cranio Sacral Therapy (Dr. Upledger), Body Talk, Massage Cupping, etc. In 2008, Marjorie was admitted at the University of Natural Medicine where she continues to study her passion of healing that started as a childhood dream.
Dr. Elizabeth Burklee
Because health affects not only what people are able to do but how well they do it, Dr. Elizabeth Burklee promotes health and wellness in the home and in the workplace. In addition to personalized one on one care in the office she also provides customized classes, workshops, and programs to businesses and organizations to help reduce absenteeism, reduce work-related injuries, and optimize productivity. She focuses on practical, manageable steps that lead to measuarble improvements in health and fitness.
Dr. Burklee brings a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to her work as health counselor and educator. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Utah State University prior to earning her Doctorate in Chiropractic Care from Palmer College of Chiropractic and completing 100 hours of training in Applied Kinesiology. A passionate learner and dedicated health practitioner, she has furthered her studies by completing professional courses in Therapeutic Lifestyle Counseling, Functional Blood Chemistry, Functional Endocrinology, and Nutrition.
Katie Holly
Growing up in Orange County, Katie paid much attention to health and the joy of being well. She has always been involved in water sports and her interest in the capacity of the human body led her to the 1,000-hour program at the Western Institute of Neuromuscular Therapy (WIN). Having graduated in 2011, her passion was fueled by education, and a greater understanding for well-being has sprouted. Read More
With a certificate in Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports — and Oncology Massage as well, Katie’s spectrum of acknowledging the fragility and perseverance of the human body has grown. The fascination and appreciation that has come from working with athletes and individuals with musculoskeletal disabilities of varying degrees allows her to love what she does. Her education in massage therapy and human anatomy will continue to expand throughout the years.
Sandy Giltinan
Life presents us many paths, some more challenging than others. Sandy’s path started in the hills of West Virginia. After receiving a Bachelors Degree with a major in Biology at Davis and Elkins College. His journey wound through the mountains of Montana, the French Alps, and Idaho, including twelve years as a professional ski guide. After his first acupuncture treatment for a minor shoulder injury the path opened up in a new direction and Sandy found himself pursue and receive a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. His daughter Sage was the next, and most amazing, turn on the road to the sunny shores of Southern California.
Sandy has been a licensed acupuncturist since 2002 and continues to lead an active lifestyle. Frequent Ocean paddles and swims, trail runs, and of course some skiing maintain a connection with the natural world, which Sandy joyfully brings to his practice. Throughout his acupuncture career Sandy has, in addition to private practice, worked in the recovery community and considers service to others essential to illuminating the challenges we all face in achieving balance in our dynamic world.
Bodhi Bojangles
He is a Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle Mix), who is completely hypoallergenic. In late December of 2010 Bodhi joined Integrated Wellness. He was only 8 weeks old. Since his participation at IW, he has graduated from Dog Obedience Class, AKC Canine Good Citizen and Certified Therapy Dog. His goal is to visit the elderly and/or veterans in need. Some days you may find him sniffing under the door or in a treatment room relaxing, always bringing peace, smiles and love to all the sessions. Bodhi loves his walks and playtime with his many friends, two- and four-legged.
